Dude; leave Target and go to a bike store and get something
that's not a toy and something that will have some quality
components to it. Would you let your friends get a low end LG when
they can get a Nokia N-series that better fits their needs; same
here my friend, same here...
CL is a great place as well; but never places like Walmart,
Target, Toys R'Us; those places really don't stock bikes that will
make it though a nice ride.

I say craigslist for bikes. Find some dude that builds them, and buy one. Your $200 will get a lot further.

Costco seems to have some quality bikes, but if not there then CL.

i think i'm looking for a cruiser, but then again i'm planning on doing some long bike rides so maybe a real bike would be better.
